Last Wednesday we had our Vinyasa foundations workshop, part 1 of our vinyasa workshop series. It was a great night, with people of all levels attending to learn more about the practice of vinyasa yoga.
Part 2 of the series is this Wednesday, Feb 4, from 5:30-8pm! In this workshop, the focus will be inversions, a very beneficial and often challenging portion of vinyasa classes. I’ve been practicing yoga for 5 years, but am still intimidated by inversions, and unsure when it comes to technique in poses such as shoulder stand and headstand. I often avoid inversions in my yoga practice because I feel nervous and afraid of failure, and I think many other people feel this way too. I’m doing this workshop to face the fear and self-doubt that I have with inversions by just going for it!
I encourage anyone and everyone to come to the Inversions workshop this Wednesday. If you made it to the first workshop, this will be a great way to build on the foundations that were covered. If you missed the first one, you’re still more than welcome to come! Whether you do headstands every day, or have never tried them once, you’ll be able to take something away from this workshop.
